Ms. Sylaj Shehu's remarkable career speaks for itself. Under the leadership of the Executive Director, CBM has successfully implemented complex and extensive initiatives that have had a positive impact on individuals from diverse backgrounds. Furthermore, the organization has consistently shown an exceptional level of effectiveness, openness, and responsibility. Ms. Sylaj Shehu has commendable qualities such as capability, professionalism, and diligence. She demonstrates ambition in her quest of fostering peaceful coexistence across groups in northern Kosovo, while displaying unwavering determination in effecting substantial improvements in the lives of ordinary inhabitants, particularly women and youth. Ms. Sylaj Shehu exemplifies many key attributes, including trustworthiness, honesty, neutrality, and a commitment to the public good. Ms. Sylaj Shehu has over two decades of expertise in the realm of Civil Society. The individual in question has played a pivotal role in establishing many notable organizations and initiatives. These include the Mitrovica Women Association for Human Rights, the Mitrovica Women Business Association, the Mitrovica area Monitoring Team (a collaborative network of over 25 non-governmental organizations from the Mitrovica area), and the Master Program for Transitional Justice at Pristina University.
Ms. Sylaj Shehu is now employed as a teaching assistant at the International Management University in London. Ms. Sylaj Shehu was designated as a Peace Ambassador in 2011 by the International Peace Federation. Ms. Sylaj Shehu has a Master's degree in International Relations and Diplomacy, and she has obtained certification as a Mediator.
