Tamara Kamatovic

Postdoctoral Research Fellow, CEU, Austria

Tamara Kamatovic works as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Yehuda Elkana Center for Teaching, Learning, and Higher Education Research at CEU in Vienna. She received her PhD in German Studies at the University of Chicago in 2020.

She has many years of experience teaching in a variety of subjects across the humanities, including human rights, literature, foreign languages, and history. As a program co-director of the Developing Teaching Professionals Project, she works with OSUN faculty and students on developing their teaching skills on themes that include democratic and open classrooms, student inclusivity, equity, and gender diversity. She also mentors fellows in CEU's Global Teaching Fellows program.

Her research interests include: educational technologies, censorship, new philosophical approaches to technology, the history of science, and the history of books.
