Sophiyat Sadiq is a program intern at Salzburg Global Seminar. Based in Salzburg, Austria, she supports the process of organizing and assisting with the implementation of various programs with a specific interest in education focused initiatives. She completed her bachelor's in computer science from Lagos State University, Nigeria and is currently a data analysis student at Alt School Africa. Before Salzburg Global, she worked with Global Citizen as a campaigns associate, the International Telecommunications Union and RIVET. Sophiyat is interested in education, tech and digital inclusion and the meaningful engagement of young people. Sophiyat has been recognized by the Kofi Annan Foundation as a Kofi Annan Changemaker, a Beyonce BeyGOOD Fellow and a youth envoy for the International Telecommunications Union. She is very excited about pursuing her interest in education policy with Salzburg Global Seminar.
