Maxim Jennings is a fourth year multimedia journalism student at Bournemouth University in England. Maxim's third year consisted of a year-long placement at independent documentary company Candour Productions, based in Leeds. Here he worked on various documentaries centered around social change including BAFTA nominated: "Libby, Are You Home Yet?". Following the completion of his degree Maxim will spend the next 12 months travelling through South America, Asia, and Oceania with the aim of developing a greater understanding of different cultures from around the world. Through the Salzburg Academy, he hopes to learn about the methods other members of the media use to tell stories they are passionate about. As well as how the media as an industry can use their global platform to empower those who feel marginalized.
