Nishant Singh

Fulbright Scholar, Harvard University, USA

Nishant Singh is a Fulbright Scholar who is currently working with some of top global institutions to build world-class education, capacity building, and leadership programs focussing on the emerging economies of Asia, Middle East, Africa, and Europe. He is an alumnus of The Centre for International Development (CID) housed at the Harvard Kennedy School where he worked and trained in nurturing global partnerships with international organizations, governments, and philanthropic foundations for building, convening, and deploying talent in education, climate action, and international development. Prior to this, Nishant has been the founding team member of Harappa Education, an online learning institution in India that has empowered more than 600,000 lifelong learners globally to build skills critical for career success in the 21st century. He began his career in building higher-ed, ed-tech, and strategic organizations at 9dot9 Education, India’s premier institution-building firm. Here, he worked closely with India’s top educationists, CXOs, entrepreneurs, and academics to shape path-breaking experiments for transforming India’s higher education. He holds a B.Tech. from the second batch of the National Institute of Technology, Uttarakhand, is a Young India Fellow from Ashoka University, Haryana, and has received an Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, Cambridge, USA where he was the Class Marshal and an Equity Inclusion Fellow. He is deeply inspired by the power of institutions, philanthropy, and collaboration to drive meaningful change in the world. Nishant is a Fellow of the Salzburg Global Seminar.
