Cheung Wai Sum is a year-2 international journalism student at Hong Kong Baptist University. She is interested in environmental and social welfare topics. She is passionate about music and food. As an outgoing and adventurous person, she enjoys travelling and exchanging views on global issues with others. She has previously worked on a study related to climate change impacting residents living in low-lying regions in Hong Kong. She has been a student research assistant of her professor for a year, mainly focused on projects regarding news fact-checking and legislation against misinformation.
