Carla Cordova is a communication consultant at NGO CSW NY, a coalition of NGOs, civil society organizations, and individuals that support the discussion of feminist grassroots and UN Members in the official UN Commission on the Status of Women process in New York. She is currently a master's student in media studies and social justice at Queens College and holds a bachelor's degree in social communication and a minor in audiovisual production at the National University of San Marcos (Peru). Carla has worked in communications and audiovisual production for 7 years, designing strategies and digital content for organizations such as The National Fire Department of Peru, the National University of San Marcos, and civil organizations for women's rights and mental health in Peru, Chile, and Latin America. Her main interests are gender equality, veganism, mental health and the relationship between spirituality and human rights. In her spare time, she loves watching documentaries, singing, and exploring new places and vegan food in the city.
