Lau Cheuk Ki Jackie is currently a year four student studying in The Chinese University of Hong Kong, majoring in sociology and minoring in journalism and communication. She has robust interest in social policies and global communication related fields. She is a goal-oriented individual who upholds far-reaching insights in making a better change for the world. Previously, she went for an academic exchange in The University of Kent, United Kingdom. Such experience equipped her with potential adaptability to new working environments and interactions with international talents. She also participated in the Youth Regional Affairs Dialogue 2022 and Asian Youth Leaders Travel and Learning Camp in Singapore. She collaborated with more than 100 international students from prestigious Asian universities to discuss different pressing global social issues. Such has shaped her as an empathic listener and persuasive speaker with a global vision to facilitate discussions debates in the upcoming international platforms. After graduation, Jackie aims to work for the Government by affiliating with The Customs and Excise Department, that paves the way for her to join the Interpol in combating international crimes.
