Madison Alvarez is a student at the University of Texas at Austin pursuing a B.A. in advertising through the Moody College of Communication, as well as a minor in business and public policy and a certificate in human rights and social justice. Most recently, she was employed at the Texas House of Representatives as a legislative staffer during the 2023 legislative session and handled policy work in Criminal Jurisprudence and Public Health. She also provided an adequate social media calendar and maintained a newly designed website for the Representative to engage with her constituents. With this experience, Ms. Alvarez plans to attend law school and pursue a J.D. in human rights or constitutional law after her undergrad.
