Lydia Gaby

Lydia Gaby is a strategy consultant leading community development and strategic planning projects focused on racial equity and climate resiliency. At HR&A Advisors she is a leader within the parks and open space practice, and has developed or supported the development of sustainable operations and maintenance plans, capital financing approaches, community buy-in strategies, socioeconomic and fiscal benefits analyses, and more for parks and open spaces across the United States and around the world. As one example, she recently developed a racially equitable reinvestment, funding, and participatory governance strategy for four of Indianapolis, Indiana's most iconic downtown open spaces, and will facilitate the establishment of a new governance entity to oversee its implementation. Lydia received her bachelor's degree in Environmental Science and Public Policy from Harvard University and completed coursework and research at Harvard College and the Harvard graduate schools of design, law, business, and government.
