Surya HK is an Impact Fellow at Salzburg Global and works with the Culture team. He researches diverse topics for the Culture programs, assists in the development and execution of online and in-person sessions, provides administrative and operational support, and contributes with the conception and design of program outputs. Surya is also the output and design coordinator for the Salzburg Academy on Media and Global Change. He has been a Salzburg Global Fellow since 2018, which is when he first participated in the Media Academy. Surya was senior manager of marketing and PR at the JSW Foundation's Museum of Solutions, one of India's largest social development and philanthropic organizations, with a portfolio of projects and initiatives across the sectors of education, healthcare, environment, arts and culture. Earlier, as events and outreach manager at the Museum of Art and Photography (MAP), he focused on event curation and outreach activities for a varied cross-section of public audiences. He was previously chief of staff to Samir Jain, at the Vice Chairman's Office of The Times of India Group.
