Olha Lykova

Project Manager, Ukrainian Corporate Governance Academy (UCGA)

Olha Lykova is a Project Manager of the Ukrainian Corporate Governance Academy (UCGA), a world-class academy that provides education for current/future board members of private, public, or state-owned companies. Olha helps to retrieve and stimulate UCGA work during the war in Ukraine. During the tough times of the motherland, UCGA is especially united, having developed unique initiatives to STILL make Ukraine better in every way. We are continuing with fresh ideas of studying format during the war; creating new programs for graduates and experienced people to reach a high level of Corporate Governance in Ukraine, integrate and implement it with best international practices. Since February 26, 2022, Olha is a co-founder of DATTALION - Ukraine's Data Battalion. The project was founded and run by women in Ukraine (many of them mothers and wives), supported by international volunteers, fighting on the information frontlines of russia's war against Ukraine. DATTALION is home to the largest free and independent open-source database of photo and video footage from the war, as well as a database of verified eyewitnesses to the horrors of russia's invasion. From 2019 to 2022 Olha worked as researcher and analyst in HCM International Ltd., a leading independent international advisory firm specialized in advising boards, board committees, and senior management in strategic and more difficult practical challenges of the intersect of compensation, corporate governance, and risk & finance. Olha holds a Master's degree in International Intermediation from Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics (Kyiv, Ukraine). Also, she was elected to participate in an exchange program in International Master in Management for 1 semester in Audencia Business School (Nantes, France).
