Pascale van Der Leest is project manager at Parks Canada. She comes from an urban-immigrant family and spends a lot of my time thinking about how we can make our parks more accessible and welcoming to all. As a social scientist and project manager at Parks Canada, Pascale has learned so much in this area from inspiring individuals across Canada and around the world through initiatives such as IUCN #NatureForAll <natureforall.global>, which has been co-led by Parks Canada since its launch in 2016. She looks forward to many more opportunities to collaborate and connect people with nature.
