Rebecca is the policy and project officer at World Urban Parks. She develops, reviews, and publishes international park policy statements, engages emerging park professionals, supports executive level staff, and participates in membership recruitment. She also manages a grants program at Partnerships for Parks that helps support community groups interested in programming, stewarding, and activating greenspaces across NYC. Rebecca is an urban parks advocate who is particularly focused on the diverse health benefits of urban greenspaces and the importance of equitable access to urban nature experiences. Her academic experience includes a Bachelor of Arts in geography, environmental studies, and urban studies from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota and a Masters in landscape and wellbeing from the University of Edinburgh.
