Monika Lütke-Entrup

Monika Lütke-Entrup heads the unit for early childhood education (children aged 0-10 years) in the Ministry of Education in Lower Saxony since 2007. She has previously worked as programme manager for the Robert Bosch Foundation and the Bertelsmann Foundation. As a public servant of the state government of Lower Saxony, a German federal state with 8 million inhabitants, she has been working on issues of policy making and policy implementation - ranging from professional training and curriculum development, to finance and legislation. Previously she managed a national agenda for the reform of early childhood education in Germany. She received a D.Phil. and an M.St. from the University of Oxford, UK, and an M.A. from the University of Münster, Germany.
