Jean Noel Attard is the Marketing Executive at the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra, following 5 years working as festival manager for Gaulitana: A Festival of Music. Trained as a violinist, he studied at the Royal Academy of Music (London) and performed with the European Union Youth Orchestra for a number of years. Subsequently, he ventured into cultural management and has worked in the USA and Czech Republic amongst others. A passionate promoter of the arts and culture as a vehicle to transform societies and communities, he formed part of a number of projects which sought to engage with wider audiences and bring music to people from different walks of life. Inspired from his performing experiences, he is interested in thinking creatively to offer artists an ideal platform to express themselves whilst strongly believing that Malta has the potential to become a hub for the creative industries.
