Kate Yang is a multidisciplinary researcher in Berlin, Germany. She started a boutique research and consulting studio in China in late 2018. She is interested in bridging the China-EU understanding and bringing innovative solutions to the public sector. Her projects include self-organizing online mutual aid communities during the Covid-19 pandemic, participatory policy-making research projects, and smart aging policy plannings. She has previously worked as a strategist and senior investment researcher in the real estate finance industry in China. She received an EMPA from the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin in 2021.
