Walter Humberto Castillo currently serves as general director of the National Institute of Mental Health “Honorio Delgado – Hideyo Noguchi” in Lima, Perú. He served as the superintendent of the National Superintendence of Health Insurance from June to December 2014, and also as the personal development manager at Social Insurance of Perú. He is a doctor of medicine, psychiatrist and master in health management. He is currently an associate professor in the Academic Department of Health and Social Sciences of the School of Public Health at Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia. He has published various articles about public health and psychosocial support groups. He is a member of the Peruvian Psychiatric Association and the Latin American Association of Social Medicine.
