Connie Wolf, director of The Jewish Museum San Francisco, California, is currently working on the design and program for the museum's new facility, slated to open in 2002. A leading authority on museums as learning environments, she served for seven years as the associate director for public programs at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York. A graduate of Stanford University, Ms. Wolf has also been affiliated with The Rockefeller Foundation, Harvard Graduate School of Education, Massachusetts, and the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, California.
