Najwa Gadaheldam is an independent consultant and former industrial development officer at the United Nations Industrial Development Organization in Vienna, Austria. Ms. Gadaheldam is a leading author of the White paper on "Darfur - Making Peace Not War: A Human Rights Perspective." In September 2009, the paper was submitted to the US State Department in collaboration with scholars of MFCI-ISP from Clark Atlanta University, Morehouse College, Spelman College and the Leadership Center at Morehouse College, Georgia. Ms. Gadaheldam holds a B.Sc. in mechanical engineering and an M.Sc. in renewable energy from the University of Khartoum and an additional M.Sc. in energy and economics from Oldenburg University, Germany. She is an alumna of several Salzburg Global Seminar sessions and has served on the Faculty of the Seminar's International Study Programs.
