Ma Lianyuan is the president of the All China Patent Agents Association and general manger of Lian and Lien IP attorneys. As a senior patent professional in China, Mr. Ma Lianyuan participated in the legislative work of the patent law in the early days of the establishment of the Chinese patent system. He has been the deputy commissioner of the State Intellectual Property Office for many years and has led and participated in the drafting of the first and second amendments of the Chinese Patent Law. From 2002 to 2005 he was a senior advisor to the director general of the World Intellectual Property Organization. Mr. Ma holds a Bachelor degree from Nanjing Normal University and a Master of Science from the Graduate School of the China University of Science and Technology. He is accompanied by his wife, Hu RONGYU.
