Alexander F. Kiselyov

First Deputy Minister

Alexander Kiselyov is first deputy minister of education for the Russian Federation. He was first vice rector of Moscow State Pedagogical Institute from 1993 to 1998, where he had previously served as vice rector of studies, professor in the Faculty of Modern Russian History, and dean of the History Department. Professor Kiselyov is the author of numerous academic works. He graduated with honors from the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute, where he specialized in history and social science, and later received his Ph.D. from the Faculty of Modern Russian History. Dr. Kiselyov is an alumnus of Universities Project Symposia in 2002 and 2003.
