JD Alexander is a rising senior at The University of Texas at Austin, and is currently pursuing his B.S. in advertising, focusing on the Texas Media program, with a minor in business. JD grew up in Jakarta, Indonesia playing professional junior's tennis and, as a result of his early athlete career, has lived in four different countries. He is fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English, and has a passion for achieving proficiency in numerous other languages. He has been living in Austin, Texas ever since he moved to the United States a little under three years ago. His other passions include backpacking, photography, and exploring different cultures. JD is excited to be a part of the Salzburg Academy and looks forward to expanding his understanding of the impacts of International Media, as well as, traveling to Europe for the first time.
