Overview

Through programs dedicated to Peace & Justice, Education, Culture, Health, and Finance & Governance, and inspired by 40,000 Salzburg Global Fellows in 180 countries, we co‐create ideas and impacts that shape a better world.

Peace & Justice

BUILDING PEACE & PROTECTING THE RULE OF LAW

Our Peace and Justice Program promotes pluralist values, the rule of law and peace and reconciliation efforts around the world.

We seek to reconcile past conflict, to shape long-term peace, stability, and regional cooperation and help build a more just and peaceful international order.

Our interdisciplinary programs connect innovators, practitioners, and strategic thinkers striving to overcome societal challenges through promotion of good governance, human security, and social trust.

Education

TRANSFORMING EDUCATION SYSTEMS

Education leaders, policymakers, and funders in every context are making decisions about how to transform learning and education.

Our Education Programs, which fall under the Salzburg Global Center for Education Transformation, focus on influencing systems transformation efforts by developing new approaches to critical and emerging issues and providing unparalleled opportunities to step back, ask big questions, and think differently about what to aim for and how to get there.

Culture

HARNESSING THE POWER OF CULTURE

Our Culture Program harnesses the power of arts, innovation, and new models of leadership to shape a better world.

We enhance individual, collective, and systems leadership by catalyzing global exchange across disciplines and sectors, lifting underrepresented or unheard voices, and connecting current and future decision-makers.

Health

PRIORITIZING COMMUNITY HEALTH AND WELL-BEING

Our Health programs promote a future that is generative of health, well-being, and happiness for all. We seek to equip leaders with networks and ideas for integrating health and well-being into all policies.

We build trust-based, international, and cross-sector communities of health influencers with the deliberate aim of inspiring collective leadership in health.

Focusing on structural and emerging health challenges, each program exchanges innovations, best practices, and strategies for system transformation.

Finance & Governance

TACKLING COMPLEX CHALLENGES & EMERGING RISKS

Our Finance & Governance Program enables the critical thinking and strategic foresight needed to tackle complex challenges at the frontline of digital, financial, and societal disruption.

We seek to promote effective leadership in an era of emerging risks, and to ensure the alignment of global financial flows with peaceful, equitable, and inclusive development.

* LGBT: Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender. We are using this term as it is currently widely used in human rights conversations on sexual orientation and gender identity in many parts of the world, but we would not wish it to be read as exclusive of other cultural concepts, contemporary or historical, to express sexuality and gender, intersex and gender non-conforming identities.
