Kimberly Liburd is a senior manager of Programmatic Partnerships for the National Math & Science Initiative in Dallas, Texas. She joined the organization in 2018. She is interested in discovering and exploring innovative ideas, novel approaches and new ways of thinking to tackle long-standing, systemic problems with access and achievement in American education. Her projects include learning from equity driven systems change models in US school districts and the role of private/public agencies in driving change. She received a B.A. in English from Hampton University (Virginia) and a masters in Educational Research and Policy from Georgia State University (Georgia).
