Harold Kachepatsonga has been a program officer at Malawi Network of Religious Leaders Living with or Affected by HIV and AIDS (MANERELA+) since 2013. With MANERELA+, he facilitates the formation of advocacy committees at the district level as well as dialogue between LGBT persons, religious leaders, service providers, and policy makers on issues affecting LGBT persons. Harold also aids in the identification of religious leaders as change agents to advocate for conducive environments of LGBT persons. Previously, he was a programmes coordinator at the Maphunziro Foundation until 2012. In July 2020, he received training from the AIDS and Rights Alliance of Southern Africa (ARASA) in advocating and monitoring of sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression and sex characteristics (SOGIESC). He received his bachelor of science in managing rural and community development from Share World Open University and a diploma in rural development from Skyway University.
