Basant Abdalla

Former Vice-Chairman, International Relations Committee, Homeland Vision for Anti-Terrorism and Sustainable Development Initiative, Egypt

Basant Abdalla is the former vice-chairman of the International Relations Committee at "Homeland Vision for Anti-Terrorism and Sustainable Development initiative". This initiative is under the auspices of the Egyptian Prime Minister - Dr. Mostafa Madbouly. Basant participated in "Homeland vision 2030" experience in succeeding in building and calling for and Egyptian vision build upon equity and not equality. Homeland Vision is a great example of how the youth have a role and have a say in the national vision. In addition, she is the founder of the International relations committee; her mission as the chair of the committee consisted in contacting foreign embassies in Egypt and conducting cooperation frameworks with them; contacting NGOs (Globally recognized) inside and outside Egypt; conducting understanding and cooperation frameworks with Educational institutions and IGOs/NGOs and Foreign universities and Searching for scholarships and training opportunities for the members of Homeland vision 2030 in the context of sustainable development and combating Terrorism. She received a bachelor of arts (Hons) in politics from the British University in Egypt and London South Bank - UK. Currently, she is pursuing a master's degree in international relations at St. Petersburg State University - Russia.
