Brenda Onono is a fine artist who lives and works in Nairobi Kenya. She is a wardrobe stylist at the Standard Media Group, an Art teacher at Koinonia Education Centre, owner and chief designer at Marumara Creations, an assistant curator at Kenya nights events Fair view Hotel Nairobi and the Communications Director of the Soroptimist International Nairobi Central club. She is a story of passion, determination and hard work. Very passionate about art and nurturing talent, environmental conservation, leadership and women empowerment. That has given her a rewarding role of a mentor at the Young African Leaders Initiative East Africa (YALI),volunteers at DREAMS Project Mukuru kwa Njenga slums where she trains girls and women on entrepreneurship and financial management, has a tree planting project that sensitizes the youth on environmental conservation and climate change.finalist in the vijana na equity young designers challenge in 2015, currently running a project that supports yo ung talents in the slums, by teaching them crafts that they sell to earn a living. During this COVID19 pandemic, she is distributing free cloth masks to the needy people in her community. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Art in 2014 from Kenyatta University
