Daniel Szelényi

Vice President, Hospitality

Daniel Szelényi is the vice president, hospitality at Hotel Schloss Leopoldskron, the home of Salzburg Global Seminar, where he manages the daily hotel operations. He comes from an international background of five star hotels, having been involved in the opening of several luxury properties, including the Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace in Budapest, Hungary, where he was in charge of developing the local corporate client market. Following his Budapest stint, Daniel took on a role in Zurich, Switzerland, to position The Dolder Grand hotel throughout emerging markets following its USD 450 million renovation. Prior to joining Hotel Schloss Leopoldskron in June 2013, Daniel was based in London where he acted as vice president, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and global head of hotels for the world's largest independent luxury hotel reviewer for three years. Daniel graduated with distinction from the International Management Center in Krems, Austria, where he obtained a master's degree in tourism management.
