Jo Weiss leads White & Case's global citizenship activities worldwide, which includes its Global Pro Bono Practice, legal education, community engagement and environmental sustainability initiatives. She also serves on the Firm's Responsible Business Working Group and the core team for its Business and Human Rights Interest Group. Under her leadership, the firm has been recognized with numerous awards for its citizenship and responsible business programs, including multi-time winner of both The American Lawyer's Global Citizenship/Corporate Social Responsibility Awards and the Financial Times Innovative Lawyers Awards. She is a Lecturer at Columbia University's School of Professional Studies where she teaches ESG-Aligned Corporate Governance in the Sustainability Masters Program." Previously, she created the global philanthropy initiative at Lehman Brothers as well as the advisory services consulting practice on workplace diversity at Catalyst. As a consultant at McKinsey & Co, she served Fortune 100 clients on matters ranging from acquisitions to change management. She received her M.B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School and her bachelor of science summa cum laude from Wittenberg University. She is a Fellow of Salzburg Global Seminar.
