Yinhe Li is professor at the Institute of Sociology, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. Her main publications include "Sexuality and Marriage in China" (1991), "Their World: a Study of Homosexuality in China (1992, Cosmos Press, Hong Kong, coauthor), "Procreation and Chinese Village Culture" (1993, Oxford University Press, Hong Kong), "Sexuality and Love of Chinese Women"(1996, Oxford University Press, Hong Kong), "Rising Power of the Women" (1997, Chinese Social Science Press), "Subculture of Homosexuality"(1998, China Today Press), "Subculture of Sadomasochism" (1998, China Today Press), "On Sexuality?Chinese"(1999, Youth Press), "Foucault and Sexuality" (2001, Shandong People's Press), "Feminism"(2003, Wunan Press, Taiwan), "Gender Relation"(2004, Wunan Press, Taiwan), and "On Gender" (2007, Qingdao Press).
