Tharindi Devasurendra

Tharindi Devasurendra works part-time at Young Out Here (YOH), Gampaha, Sri Lanka, a youth network established for young LGBTIQA+ communities and young key populations to HIV/STI prevalence. She focuses on the process of mobilizing young lesbian and bisexual women in Sri Lanka for YOH and providing strategy direction on programming for these women. Tharindi was engaged in the six-day residential Gender Equality Future Advocated Training by the Royal Commonwealth Society and the CYGEN. She has also participated in a training of trainers on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights by the Youth Advocacy Network Sri Lanka. She is currently engaged in research for mobilizing intersex individuals in Sri Lanka by reaching out to medical officers and institutions. She is studying at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka, for her bachelor's degree in English with minors in psychology.
