Brian Kepher is a student of political science and philosophy at the University of Nairobi, Kenya. He developed great interest in early European politics and culture through the study of Western classical music. Consequently, his international invite both as a young conductor and orchestra player taught him the importance of human socialization and respect for cultural plurality among global citizens to engender egalitarianism as well as good working environment without discrimination, therefore, upholding political justice and cohesion. Currently, he is a student at the University of Nairobi, final year, pursuing a BA in political science and philosophy (double major). His interest is wholly on the state as the main actor in the international system by assessing the formulation of domestic policies in reflection to its external policies. Hence, his thesis is anchored on the need to scrutinize and redefine our socio-political system in regards to foreign policies so as to create a moral obligation of utilitarianism and not be corrupted by the aspiration of national interest, a renaissance for universal justice. Although a utopian concept, Brian believes in an existence of a just society where states in the global system are viewed as per the Peace of Westphalian lenses and not judged as per their economic might.
