Jenny L. Williams is responsible for the oversight and implementation of a strategic plan to cultivate, solicit and steward gifts for the $18 million campaign to renovate Schloss Leopoldskron; for R&D support of the organization's programs; and to increase scholarship offerings. Jenny joined Salzburg Global after a decade-long career with the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History, where she was responsible for the Museum's $224 million campaign to renovate three permanent Museum exhibitions; to preserve and protect the Museum's 146-million collections of scientific specimens and cultural artifacts; for education and outreach initiatives; and to support scientific research. Earlier in her career, Jenny was selected as a three-year Fellow to The World of NGOs based in Vienna, Austria, focusing on art and culture heritage and preservation in the Balkans following the Yugoslav Wars of 1991-2001. Jenny studied at the Universität Wien; earned her B.A. degree in history and German from Salem College, Winston-Salem, NC; and received her M.A. and completed graduate studies towards a Ph.D. at the UNC-Chapel Hill's Center for Slavic and East European Studies.
