Josh Wilde is a multimedia content creator for Salzburg Global Seminar, working remotely from the United Kingdom. His diverse role involves covering programs and interviewing participants, creating multimedia content to optimize social media reach and producing articles. Before he starting working with Salzburg Global in September 2020, Josh freelanced for other organizations including BBC Radio Somerset, the Thomson-Reuters Foundation and Press Association Sport. He is a Fellow of the 2018 Salzburg Media Academy. Josh is committed to tackling misinformation through media literacy. He co-ran a two-day workshop in London's Olympic Park funded by the US Embassy. Josh also advocates greater media engagement with young audiences. He graduated Bournemouth University in 2019 with a First Class B.A. (Hons) in multimedia journalism. Josh broke two major news stories during his degree, receiving international coverage. He also won awards for his written and broadcast work and holds the BJTC Professional Journalism Skills Certificate.
