Pauline Pariser has practiced family medicine in Toronto, Canada for thirty-five years. She became associate medical director, primary care lead for the University Health Network in 2012. She has also been the primary care lead for the Mid-West Toronto Sub-region, under the auspices of the Toronto Central Local Integration Health Network. She is interested in building grass-roots coalitions with citizens and health service providers to improve care for vulnerable populations. Her work has focused on a range of initiatives that seek to better integrate primary care with other health sectors. Inherent in this work is a facility with end-user engagement and co-design, change management principles and spread of high performing inter-professional teams. She is an associate professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine, University of Toronto. She completed a master's degree in psychology at the University of Waterloo and her medical degree and residency training at McMaster University.
