Toshiya Nishigori currently serves as a Trustee at ARUN Seed, a prominent Japanese non-profit organization specializing on social investment, while working for a global company in Tokyo. He has eighteen years of experience working in both the private sector and international development organizations. Mr. Nishigori was a public affairs specialist at the UNDP Representation Office in Tokyo. In 2007, he was a local economic development specialist at the ILO Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific in Bangkok. He spent three years working in Ulaanbaatar, latterly as international advisor to the Mongolian Ministry of Industry and Trade, and prior to that as a private sector development officer for the UNDP Mongolia Office. Mr. Nishigori has a master's degree in pacific international affairs from the University of California, San Diego.
