Vickie Alvo is a managing director for regulatory affairs at JPMorgan Chase. Vickie's responsibilities span the firm's global regulatory agenda including regulatory strategy development and execution, leading the Firm's regulatory policy communications, and ensuring coordination among regions and lines of business. Vickie also advises the Commercial Bank on regulatory policy matters and develops the firm's policy engagement on emerging topics including data use, cybersecurity, and privacy. Prior to joining JPMorgan Chase in 2013, Vickie was executive director of the Global Financial Markets Association (GFMA), a trade association representing the largest global banks where she managed regulatory policy initiatives on behalf of the industry. Vickie spent five years in the U.S. Government at the U.S. Department of the Treasury and at The White House Office of Management and Budget. She holds a B.A. in political science from McGill University and an MBA from The Wharton School. Vickie is a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a Fellow of Salzburg Global Seminar.
