Ieva Ruzgyte is a Lithuanian judo athlete and LGBT speaker and activist. She was the first, and to date, the only athlete to have publicly come out as gay athlete in Lithuania. Ieva has attended panel debates and discussions on Inclusion in Sports at Baltic Pride in June 2016 in Vilnius and in October 2016 in Stockholm. She is passionate about health, well-being, safety, and protection of LGBT in Lithuania and the rest of the world. Ieva resides in Norway, where she is currently in training and seeking support to take part in the 2018 Paris Gay Games.
