Andrei Pamintuan

Founder and Creative Director, FringeMNL; Director, The Gayborhood Festival, Manila, Philippines

Andrei Nikolai Pamintuan is the festival director and founder of The Manila Fringe Festival, a multi-genre international arts festival that celebrated its 5th year in 2019. He is currently the creative director of Pineapple Lab, an artist-run creative hub that features contemporary performances and interdisciplinary arts in Poblacion, Makati City. In 2018, he co-founded Fringe Cultural and Creative Industries, Inc. or Fringe Creatives - a new company that produces Filipino productions and mediates international collaborations, highlighting original and inclusive content with diverse narratives in media, events, and live performances. Andrei has programmed performances and exhibits at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (Fringe 2015 and 2016), The National Commission for Culture and the Arts Gallery (NCCA Manila), the Ayala Museum, Yuchengco Museum, De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde, the Tandang Sora National Shrine Museum for the Quezon City Cultural Arts Council, and Museo ng Makati. He has divided his time between the Philippines and the United States where he has had various production roles in non-profit theater, festivals, cultural organizations and other art related fields.
