Philip Crehan

Grant Coordinator/Researcher, World Bank Group, USA

Phil Crehan works at the World Bank, where he is responsible for various projects that promote the full inclusion and human rights of LGBTI persons and examines the economic and social impact of homophobic and transphobic discrimination. He managed a grant “Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity and Development” that explored the relationship between discrimination and socioeconomic outcomes, in addition to highlighting the link between social exclusion and economic development. Mr. Crehan has project experience in South-, East-, and Central Asia, Eastern Europe, Latin America, and the Caribbean. He is passionate about promoting a world free of discrimination while working in cooperation with LGBTI groups.
