Richard Kaye

Head of International Public Affairs, J.P. Morgan, UK

Richard Kaye is head of international public affairs for J.P. Morgan. He has spent over two decades engaging with policymakers in the world's major capitals, from Washington DC to London, Brussels, Paris, Beijing, New Delhi and Hong Kong. As J.P. Morgan's first head of EMEA government relations, he established teams in London and Brussels, covering the region including the European institutions and member state capitals. Adding responsibility for APAC, he managed and grew teams in Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai. Prior to taking his current title, he held the position of head of international government relations. Richard has been a member of J.P. Morgan's UK & regional management committees in Europe; chair of the financial services committee of the American Chamber of Commerce to the European Union; member of the board of the Association of Foreign Banks; member of the Council of the International Regulatory Strategy Group of CityUK; member of the CityUK US Markets Advisory Group; member of the CityUK Long Term Competitiveness Group. He is a member of J.P. Morgan Chase's LGBT Executive Council and the firm's EMEA Diversity Council. Richard is a member of the advisory committee to the Finance Forum of the Salzburg Global Seminar.
