Andreas Dombret is Global Senior Advisor at Oliver Wyman, a leading global management consulting firm, where he provides strategic advice to Oliver Wyman's clients to help build strategic board level relationships focusing on regulators and central banks worldwide, as well as an International Senior Advisor to Houlihan Lokey, a global investment bank with specialized expertise in mergers & acquisitions, capital markets, restructuring and valuation. Andreas serves as a senior adjunct research fellow at Columbia University and is best known as a former member of the executive board of the Deutsche Bundesbank (2010 - 2018). While at the Deutsche Bundesbank he was responsible for Banking and Financial Supervision, Markets, Financial Stability, Economic Education, University of Applied Sciences and Technical Central Bank Cooperation, Risk Control, Statistics and the Bundesbank's Representative Offices abroad. In addition, he is Global Advisor for the Japanese banking group Sumitomo, serves on the advisory board of the London-based research company Autonomous, and is Senior Advisor to Fintech Deposit Solutions. Andreas formerly worked at JPMorgan in Frankfurt and London as a Managing Director from 1999 to 2002. From 2002 to 2005, he was the co-head of Rothschild Germany, located in Frankfurt and London, before serving Bank of America as vice chairman for Europe and head for Germany, Austria and Switzerland between 2005 and 2009. He studied business management at the Westfälische Wilhelms University, Münster and received a Ph.D. from Friedrich-Alexander University, Erlangen. He is a member of Salzburg Global Seminar's Board of Directors and is a Fellow of Salzburg Global Seminar.
