Marko Karadzic

Former State Secretary for Human and Minority Rights (2008 - 2010), Serbia

Marko Karadzic is currently pursuing an M.A. in international peace studies at the University of Notre Dame. Previously, Mr. Karadzic was Serbia’s State Secretary for Human and Minority Rights from 2008 to 2010. He has also worked for the Belgrade Center for Human Rights, Catholic Relief Services, the Council for Child Rights of Serbia and at the National Assembly. Mr. Karadzic interned for the International Criminal Court in The Hague and for the Justice, Equality, Human Dignity, and Tolerance Foundation in New York. He graduated from Belgrade University Law School and holds an LL.M. in international human rights law from the University of Notre Dame. He is a fellow of Salzburg Global Seminar Session 435, The Rule of Law: Reconciling Religion and Culture in a Constitutional Framework, in 2006.
