Alexander Drozdov

Executive Director, Boris Yeltsin Fund, Moscow

Alexander Drozdov is the Executive Director of the Yeltsin Presidential Center and is the former Executive Director of the Yeltsin Foundation, (2004 - 2011). He graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Law in 1974 and then went on to work word the newspaper "Komsomolskaya Prada as an international correspondent and soon became an editor at KP. In 1990 he left KP for "Russia" where he served as the executive director and then the editor-in chief. Since 1990 he has been a member of the editorial board of the journal "Japan Today" He is also a former member of the Russian National Reserve Bank's Board of Directors.

He is an alumnus of Salzburg Global Seminar Session 301, Japan, Europe and North America: Toward A G-3 World, 1993 and attended the 2011 June Board Meeting.
