As founder and former director of the ELBJAZZ Festival in Hamburg, Tina Heine knows that great visions can become reality. Her talent is to inspire people and awaken in them a curiosity for the unknown. Whether as artistic director of Jazz & The City in Salzburg, as host of the scientific salon series ZEITGENOSSEN or as curator of the Supergau Festival of Contemporary Art - the focus of her work is the search for a way to a socially balanced, free and livable society and the role of culture in this. Besides the conception, curating and production of cultural formats, Tina gives lectures, teaches at the University of Music and Theatre in Hamburg and advises individuals, companies and cities in creative processes. Her approach is not formalistic, but lives from conversation, observation and attentive listening. She enjoys working in interdisciplinary teams, with competent partners and within her profound network.
