Lily Hughes is an experienced curator and producer of international cultural events and festivals. She is currently the Programme Manager for the Edinburgh International Culture Summit, which brings together culture ministers, artists, academics and industry leaders from around the world. She is interested in cultural policy and investment from an international perspective with a focus on art and cultural practices that provide creative solutions to global challenges. She has previously worked for The Lab for Global Performance and Politics, British Film Institute, London Film Festival, Edinburgh International Film Festival, Africa in Motion and Double Exposure Investigative Film Festival. Lily holds a Master of Arts in Communication, Culture and Technology from Georgetown University, a Bachelor of Arts in Film and American Studies from the University of East Anglia and is an alumna of The Festival Academy.
