Guy Ben-Aharon is a cultural entrepreneur, social innovator and stage director. In 2019, he founded The Jar, using an innovative "Convener Model" that creates some of the most diverse, inclusive, and engaged audiences in our city. The Jar is building a cultural community at the intersection of equity, relationships, and art. Since 2010, Guy staged and produced over 50 plays in translation, presented in partnership with over 50 academic institutions and cultural centers in the United States, Canada, Israel and the United Kingdom. A proud Emerson College alum, Guy is a 2013 Theatertreffen Fellow in Berlin, a 2015 AdR Fellow at the University of Cambridge, UK, a 2021 Institute for Nonprofit Practice Changemaker Awardee and a member of the ROI Global Entrepreneurs Community. Guy has been featured in numerous press outlets, including The Boston Globe, The Washington Post, WBUR, for his work to promote cultural bridges through the arts.
