Sancho Lee is the founder and president of Potato Blossom Studio which is a converted space/organization in the mountain village in PyeongChang, Gangwon-do, South Korea. Having moved to the countryside in 2002, he renovated a small abandoned school building which became an arts center for residency, arts education, community art, and tourism. He was also a full time professor at Yongin University and now gives lectures at some major universities as adjunct professor. Prior to that, he ran his own commercial company called POLIMEDIA for the music/arts production in Seoul. He started his career as a manager for SAMULNORI, which is a well-known Korean traditional percussion group. He studied sociology in Korea and arts management in the U.K.
