Kathryn Lipka is a program intern at Salzburg Global Seminar in Salzburg, Austria. She assists in the preparation and execution of programs and provides research and administrative support. Prior to joining Salzburg Global, Kathryn worked at her local hospital for several years, where she aided in the testing of laboratory specimens and communicating with patients. Her prior internships included several LGBT health-based organizations in the US, where she did community outreach for the programs and researched accessibility barriers for LGBT people. She received a Bachelor's degree at the University of Kansas, where she completed her honors project on the representations of black women's mental health in fictional literature.
